1 - "Wild Card" player (rotation between QB, RB, WR, & K each week)
The Wild Card player is replacing the DEFENSE position. Each Week there will be a different position for you to choose as a Wild Card Player. Week #1 will feature a second QB as the wildcard player. Week #2 will have a 3rd RB in the line up. Week #3 will include a 4th Receiver and Week #4 will feature 2 Kickers. In following weeks of the season, we will rotate with these WILD CARD positions until Week #17. In week #17 the WILD card player is completely your choice from any position. Sort of a WILD, Wild Card.
8. Starting
lineups must be turned in to the Commissioner no later than noon Friday for
players whose games are being played on Saturday or Sunday.
No later than noon Thursday for Players whose games are to be played on Thursday night. You must determine by this time if you want to change your line up involving a player in a Thursday game. If you do not Make the choice, the player from last weeks line up will start for that current week.
(i.e. If you started Barry Sanders in weeks 5 and he is playing a Thursday game for Week 6, then that Owner must call the commissioner by Thursday to make the choice of starting or not starting him for Week 6. If the Owner fails to call, then Barry Sanders WILL start for Week 6.
No later than noon Wednesday for ALL player
for Thanksgiving Weekend games.
Failure to meet the submission deadline means the previous weeks lineup will be used for the upcoming game.
The Commissioner will try to have ALL lineups to every team by 5:00pm
9. The
winning team of each game will be the team whose starters score the most points.
In case of a tie the winning team will be the team will be the team whose

As commissioner, I am only human. If I make a mistake on figuring points, please let me know within 48 hours of when the standings/results are published. Otherwise they remain as is.

12.
Waiver Wire
A player not on a roster can be picked up by a team for $3.00 minimum bid. You may pick up as many players as you wish through out the season.
If more than 1 team bids on the same player, they will enter in a "Bidding War". The "Bidding War" will be a silent bid by all owner involved and they will not know what the others bids are. You are only charged with a "Bidding War" if you continue the process after you are notified that there is/are another team(s).
Limited to only 3 "Bidding Wars" for the season for each team.
Must be done by Noon Wednesday.
Released players are not available until the following week.
13. Franchise Players (NEW)
Each team will be able to keep up to 2 franchise players from the previous season. You can only give the tag of "Franchise Player" to the same player 1 year in a row. For instance, Tait has T. Davis on his roster from last season, he can make T. Davis a "F.P." only for this season. Next season T. Davis will have to be thrown back into the pool to be drafted. Now he can be drafted again by Tait next season and tagged a "F.P." the following season after that.
If you keep just 1 Franchise Player on your roster, it will be your first round draft pick . If you keep 2 "FP"'ers, they will be your 1st and 2nd round draft picks. If you chose none, then you will have both a 1st and 2nd round draft pick to select any player still available.
A few weeks before draft night, the commish will begin calling the teams (from 6th to 1st place of the previous season [rule #6]) to determine if the are or are not keeping any Franchise Players. You DO NOT have to say WHO they are or HOW MANY there will be, at that time. After calling everyone and communicating the status if each team with franchise players, the commish will again contact everyone and get their draft order selection. Again we start from 6th to 1st. On the night of the draft, just before the draft, you will give the name(s) of your Franchise Player(s) via "secret ballot". At that time the commish will read everyone's FP selections and then the draft can commence.
This rule will be in effect for players on the 1998 roster to be protected for the 1999 season.
This may sound complicated, but it is not. It gives a team the chance to keep a player or two for 2 consecutive years.
14. A
majority vote of the franchise owners present
is needed to amend the rules or to add new rules.
